How would I know that someone is connected to my wifi network? Would I know who is currently using it?

How would I know that someone is connected to my wifi network? Would I know who is currently using it?
Would I also knows if someone is trying to guess out what my password is? or someone who's attempting to get in?

Can I just like make my wifi stay invisible from the public?

Not sure about the first two Q but to stable invisible ... just disable SSID broadcasting on your WiFi Router.

You should be able to access your router information on your computer, it's usually a local webpage. The router information should list connected devices.

I would look at the router's log file to see if there is any activity when your computer is shut off. If there is then I would say that someone is probably using your connection.

If you didn't change any of the security for the wireless then that would be the first thing that I would change. Unless you change the security settings, then just about anybody will be able to use your internet connection.

you can try typing in "home" on the address bar, or find out what is your routers IP. You can also use a third-party program called "Network Magic" which gives you this feature or showing you who is currently online
