Using Windows server 2003 how do you add multiple groups to users?
I am setting up a windows 2003 server and have users that need to be added to multiple groups. Is there a way that I can do this without having to type in each one individually?

Yes, you can import from an LDIF file.

Sure is dude,

Okay, since you are using server, you can go into the "Active Directory Computers and users" If you are not using AD, you can do this from right clicking on My Computer and goto Manage. From there, you should see users and groups.

Go into a user. Click on "Member of" Tab. Select "add". from this point is where I think you are typing in all those groups. BAD IDEA.

Click on the Advance tab below. A new window should pop up. Leave everything as is an press the "Find Now" button on the right side.

This should display all of your groups. From here you can hold in the CTRL button and left mouse click on the groups you want this user to belong to.

Very nice. Have a good swing at it.
