My iPhone 3GS has a shattered screen, but it works perfect. I don't know if it is the screen or LCD that needs to be repaired. Also, what parts do I need to order?

I don't recommend repairing it yourself. You have almost completely dissamble the iPhone in order to get to the LCD. Some retail stores repair it for less that $50

Well, the difference is, the part that is shattered, thats the "screen", the LDC does not need to be replaced, just the shattered glass screen. I don't recommend trying to fix it yourself, my friend tried to do that and ended up breaking it beyond repair. I asked the people in the apple store how much to fix my iPod touch and its around $120. But its the glass, not the LCD
