Infected computer-windows virtual protector?
My laptop is infected. Everytime I log in "windows virtual protector" pops up and I cant do anything because it wants me to purchase it. I looked online and it says this is malware. I tried restarting it and pressing f8 to do the safe mode thing but it doesnt work. I use the laptop for school, itunes, netflix, youtube, email, and facebook... I dont know how this happened. Please help!
Thank you!
I can't access the internet with the laptop because of this. I can't do anything. Everytime I try to exit the pop up it just pops up again.

Have a go at using this.

malwarebytes chameleon > https://www.malwarebytes.org/chameleon/

if the site is blocked,
use this direct download link > http://data-cdn.mbamupdates.com/v1/tools...1.1000.zip

Download Chameleon from the link above. Unzip the contents to a folder in a convenient location.
Follow the instructions in the included CHM Help File or, if the help file will not open, simply try to run the files by double-clicking on them one by one until one of them remains open, then follow the onscreen instructions.

FULL Removal instructions can be found
here > http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-re...-protector
you need to go read them,
as there are other things you need to do to remove it completely,
other than use malwarebytes.

This virus can be removed through activation of its so-called "ultimate protection". Obviously, this is a fake protection, but you may activate the hoax using the product key as explained in this article - http://www.system-tips.net/remove-window...tor-virus/

Then, after you activate it, you may remove this virus for free with the help of Malwarebytes program, or other application which is free.
