If you installed on different partitions, then you will have to delete the partition that Windows XP is stored on. You can do this by clicking the Start button and typing "Disk Management", then pressing Enter. After this, you need to identify the partition Windows XP is stored on, right click it and delete it.

If you installed on the same partition as XP was installed on, then all you have to do to discard the previous data is delete the folder "C:\Windows.old".

As with all disk/file operations, ensure any data you wish to keep is BACKED UP or SAVED somewhere other than the partition you're deleting before doing so.

1. Format the partition of xp while using 7.
2. Download easybcd by google it and after install, run it. And go to edit boot menu and delete earlier version.
