What is this "Antivirus Center"?
So I was doing some Web Surfing with Google Chrome and then Google Chrome said that my computer had a virus and then told me to download this "Antivirus Center". So I downloaded it and then it scanned my computer. Then it said I have 18 viruses and pop-ups come up and say: "Another computer is stealing software from this computer" or "This so and so is using Internet Explorer to steal passwords". I have already have an antivirus software. Its McAfee i opened up McAfee virus scan console and started scanning (which took a couple of hours) and it said i have no viruses. Also Antivirus Center is telling me to buy it so it can get rid of the viruses. Is Antivirus Center a fake? If so, how do i remove it?
Thanks in advance.

Antivirus Center is fake antispyware which is represented as Internet protection. It presents false positives to convince you that your computer is in risk. Its final aim is to rip off money from you.So don't trust it.
