Try going into safemode by hitting f8 when you initially start your computer. Try to do a virus scan there if you can and also do a system restore if you can. Also, a good tip is to scan with as many antivirus and adware removal tools and they should reveal a virus name and search google for whatever result and you will find a removal tool for that virus or how to remove it. also, try to go into msonfig by going to start and run than typing msconfig in the dialog box and select the startup tab and uncheck anything you do not recognize or want. Good luck.

1. Turn off System Restore.
2. Download and Install Avast Home Pro Edition: http://avast.com/... Don't scan yet though..
3. Re-Boot in Safe Mode.. Tap F-8 when re-starting and choose Safe Mode.
4. Scan with Avast and move viruses to the Virus Chest and delete them in there when Windows starts...
5. Turn on System Restore.
6. Re-boot in your normal usual way and they're gone...

Oh and for spyware get http://superantispyware.com/
Scan and delete.

GET TO HTTP: SUPERANTISPYWARE.COM AND GET THE FREE SuperAntiSpyware. It takes care of viruses, bad cookies, adware of all kinds, worms, Trojans, spyware, etc. Also, follow above tips for starting in Safe Mode and trying to discover what kind you have and Google it.
