Antivirus 2009 Malware?
My computer was recently infected with the Antivirus 2009 malware, and now when I try to open anything like "My computer" or "Explore", nothing will open. I burned the program provided to remove the malware onto a cd, but the computer will not let me open it. Everytime I try to open something up, it just shoots to my background photo and the task bar and icons disappear, then it just goes back to the main desktop. I read online that my programs would open if I ran the computer in safe mode, but that didn't work either. If anyone has any suggestions, they'll be greatly appreciated.

Go into safe mode, download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, scan, and remove.

This is what I always do:
Remove your computer hard drive and put to another PC with strong/good antivirus (see recommendations below)
Use the PC to scan your hard drive and remove those viruses.

Best antivirus software reviews and recommendations:

you've missed the fact that antivirus 2009 is a computer parasite and it is definitely not an antivirus.
try to run avg to remove this infection.
however, you need anti-spyware to remove a threat like antivirus2009
and avg might not work because avg is antivirus.
you can also delete antivirus 2009 infection manually, reinstalling system.
remove fast:

If you find yourself unabled to remove the infection with an anti-spyware program, delete it manually. Here are all the files, which you should try to delete:
