Laptop slow all of a sudden?
Okay so I have a laptop with windows 7 and for some reason it started acting really slow yesterday and over a period of time when I turn on my laptop. It would freeze and applications would crash also it took long to open things. It would end up in a black screen. I ran a virus scan with my avg and it found 3 in my sony vegas folder that I torrented and have been using for 2 days. The comments and rates for the torrent was very positive with 1000+ worked thumbs up. So I don't know if those could be false positives or what. Everytime I have to restart my computer so it can speed up, but eventually gets slower again and ends up in a black screen. What should I do? Sad

Do a Virus Boot scan and Quarantine any Virus found that way if the file is needed you can repair it and reinstall.

Download (use blue download) tweaking.com
Run it but read the instructions on each page. It will atke about a 1/2 hour to complete.
