I'm having problems portforwarding a minecraft server with my SBJ6580 Router?
Ok, So i'm setting up a minecraft server for my friend and I to play on, I've port forwarded before on a Dlink router but since we got this Motorola one I've been having problems. Mostly by the fact that the Forwarding page on the residential gateway configuration is different than any I have seen on the web.
here's what it looks like:http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/849/atzn.png/

Well, it looks relatively normal, but seems to be written backwards (left handed programmer??)
You forward to the Internal LAN IP list on the left (but should NOT be the router IP, but the game server at a static LAN IP (like 192.168.0.2)
Not sure why one would need an external IP address, I suspect leaving it at 0.0.0.0 is the right option (allows ALL IP addresses). The way you have it entered, it will only allow that one IP from the outside world into the LAN on those ports, restricting all others. Try it both ways....
