windows vista on a laptop?
This laptop comes with windows xp is it possible to upgrade it to windows vista cause of the specs it has?

hey peace, and yes you could. Vista only requires approx. 1.3gb of RAM. But if you do end up by installing vista, make sure that laptop has DEDICATED graphics card and not an INTEGRATED. If it has an integrated (sharing memory w. computer), then you won't have enough system RAM, freezing the whole time.

If you absolutely want Vista i suggest you get 3gb of ram.

Why are u keen on updating to vista!
I will suggest u keep WinXp,
But if u cant help upgrading, it is fine but just for the g.Card only weak lol!

yes this laptop meets above the minimum specs to operate windows vista. im not sure which version of vista you want to run though. probably just home premium.
