why won't my laptop connect to my netgear router?
So i just finished setting up/configuring my netgear router using my laptop. Now the problem is that when i disconnect the ethernet cable off my laptop, my laptop wont show my router's signal. My cousin came to my house the other day and her phone picked up the signal. Why cant my laptop? Does it matter because i configured the router with my laptop?

You have to set-up the wi-fi connections on your laptop to your router.

You will have to do a search on your laptop for local wireless connections.

If you are using windows it should be an wi-fi or computer screen icon for internet connection where the clock is on the botton right.

Once you find your routers name then you put in your password.
