Why air bubbles in burette tip a possible source of error in titration experiment? Because the first time you run in liquid, part of the measurement will be air, so actual volume of liquid added is LESS than the reading!

How to remove air bubbles from burette tip? Fill burette with liquid and then open tap fully. Look to see if all air is flushed out, if not repeat. Never try and start burette at 0.0mL reading
