How do I adjust the touchpad sensitivity on my dell 1440? - homelands - 10-15-2012 01:10 PM

My cursor is in one place and my touchpad mouse marker is in another.I keep typing in areas where I am not intending to type. Never had this happen before. Help!!

Sounds like you need to go into-Control panel, then mouse setting and run a diagnostic or it may have a test on there to reset it.

If its not already installed on your dell, you need the touchpad driver if its on your comp you will see a little icon in the lower right. Here is the Windows XP package
